1-Year Builder’s Warranty Home Inspection

Don’t get stuck with costly repairs that might be covered under your builder’s warranty! Let Alpine Building Performance be your advocate.

Note: We recommend scheduling your 1-year builder’s warranty inspection 1-2 months prior to your warranty expiration date.

Congratulations! You’re approaching one year of ownership in your newly constructed home! It’s a time to celebrate - and it’s a time to get the most out of your 1-Year Builder’s Warranty. Just because your home is new doesn’t mean it is absent defects and issues that could cause problems down the road. This is the time to let Alpine Building Performance conduct a thorough home inspection and alert you to items that could be claimed under the 1-Year Builder’s Warranty before it expires. Alpine Building Performance conducts a thorough review of all your home’s major systems and components from the roof down to the foundation. We flag any potential areas of concern, items needing review or potential repairs. We will review these findings with you at the end of the home inspection, and return a detailed report with video and photo within 24 hours.

Please note that this inspection is an abbreviated version of our general home inspection. It is assumed you have information such as the type of HVAC system, size of your electrical system, location of various systems and components at hand, and have become familiar with them over the previous months, or you were a previous client and this information is contained in your initial report. As such, we will perform the inspection as we normally do, just without the general information normally included in our general home inspection report. We will still make any and all recommendations regarding material defects and take all your concerns under consideration. If this information is desired, please select our general home inspection service.
