Andrew Sams is the founder of Alpine Building Performance, a Denver-based residential and commercial inspection firm. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Building Science and has more than 15 years of experience in building diagnostics, energy auditing, and property condition assessment.
Andrew’s work focuses on understanding how buildings actually perform — including moisture behavior, structural movement, ventilation, insulation performance, and environmental risks common to Colorado homes.
Professional Background
Before founding Alpine Building Performance in 2016, Andrew worked in building performance consulting and energy auditing, where he evaluated buildings and advised owners on performance improvements and building operation. He later began performing residential and commercial inspections with an emphasis on explaining building conditions in practical, understandable terms.
Since founding Alpine, he has overseen thousands of inspections across the Denver metro area and helped develop internal inspection standards focused on thorough documentation and clear reporting.
