What is a Verification of Repairs Inspection?

  • A VOR Inspection is a modified inspection that is performed to verify that agreed-upon repairs have been completed by the seller (owner), typically prior to the buyer taking possession of the property.

How is this documented?

  • The client or agent must provide the Inspection Resolution or builder repair documentation before booking.

  • A digital reinspection report will be provided, featuring concise notes and clear photos to document the completion of the listed repairs.

Can I request the same inspector?

  • We always do our best to schedule the original inspector. However, due to availability, another qualified inspector may complete the VOR Inspection if necessary.

Can the inspector check for new issues during a VOR inspection?

  • No. VOR Inspections are limited to verifying previously noted items from the original inspection report, based on the Inspection Resolution or repair agreement. Inspectors will not investigate new issues or perform a full inspection of the home.
